LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

 

Congratulations on your purchase of an OHANA ukulele!  Your ukulele has been designed and manufactured with strict craftsmanship and quality control standards to ensure you receive a quality instrument. Each and every ukulele undergoes a detailed setup by our trained technicians prior to shipment to further prevent issues in build and materials.

To help protect your investment, OHANA Music, INC provides this limited warranty. Should your ukulele ever develop a problem you believe is covered under warranty, feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.

LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

1) Terms and Conditions.  All new OHANA products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year from the time of original purchase. This Limited Warranty applies solely to the original purchaser of the OHANA instrument. Proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is required when submitting a claim. In addition, this limited warranty does not apply to: (a) wear or breakage of frets or strings, or other normal wear and tear of the instrument or its parts; (b) defects caused by modification, misuse or abuse or improper maintenance of the instrument; (c) defects caused by accident or exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity which cause harm to the instrument; (d) defects asserted by any purchaser who did not purchase the instrument from an authorized OHANA dealer; (e) damage incurred in transit.

2) Claim Procedures. For warranty repair and service, please contact your dealer where the OHANA instrument was originally purchased from. Your dealer and OHANA shall review the description of the asserted defect, and may require that you return the instrument to your dealer or to OHANA for inspection. If the asserted defect is determined to be covered under this Limited Warranty, your dealer or OHANA will perform the necessary service, repairs, and replacements as appropriate under this Limited Warranty. In the event it is determined that the asserted defect is not covered by or is excluded from this Limited Warranty, the instrument shall be returned without repairs or replacement, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser.

Unless purchaser is notified in writing that repairs and service under this Limited Warranty may be made by an authorized OHANA dealer or authorized OHANA warranty repair center, claims for warranty performance and service shall be made by sending the instrument, shipping and insurance prepaid by the purchaser, to OHANA, together with (a) proof of original purchase by purchaser; (b) a brief description of the nature of the asserted defect; and (c) the name, address, and phone number of the original purchaser to whom the instrument is to be returned. All returns must be accompanied with a Return Authorization number. Any instrument shipped to OHANA without a Return Authorization will be returned without repair, postage paid by the sender.

3) Limitation on Obligations. The obligations of OHANA hereunder are limited to repair or replacement of parts of the instrument found to be defective under this Limited Warranty. In no event shall OHANA be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to time, wages, or lost profits, of any nature or kind or for damages to or loss of property.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY OF OHANA INSTRUMENTS ONLY, AND IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PURPOSE.
